VITAE

Professor Herbert’s career has spanned several disciplines.  He has been a financial planning manager at Xerox Corporation where he focused on evaluation of new product development and technology diversification. At Eastman Kodak, he was a human resources manager and internal consultant in behavioral sciences for the manufacturing environment. As part of this work, he represented Kodak in the “Leaders for Manufacturing” partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and 12 other major manufacturers. He was most recently supervisor of specialty engineering at ITT’s Space Systems Division, a satellite imaging company, and also adjunct professor of Business Administration at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he continues to teach summer quarter classes.
